Hi guys, welcome to the first edition of the Hive newsletter. We have 13 bite-sized updates this week. Each one is crisp, short, and worth a glance.
#1. Whale Alert has added Hive. If you didn’t know, Whale Alert tracks millions of blockchain transactions. Has 220,000+ Twitter followers. Link
#2: Dappradar has written an article about the dapp ecosystem. They have mentioned Hive. Two key takeaways:
Hive ended the month with the daily activity of around 4,000 unique wallets.
The “messy” divorce between Hive and Steem has affected the price in a positive way: Hive is up by 201% while Steem declined 31%.
#3: Hive Hardfork 24 is here. The details on the release candidate and testnet will be released on Monday, June 8th. Link
#4: DappReview — another dapp website — has listed Hive’s portfolio of apps on their website. What makes this interesting are the thousands of retweets on Twitter — be sure to check it out and show your support.
#5: Building cities is even more exciting as the second edition of dCity just went live.
#6: Hive Quora is here. It is called Quello. You will immediately notice the website looks super-clean and has a simple UI. Loads faster, too. Details
#7: Hiveswag.io is here as well. You can order Hive-based hoodies, mugs, and tees. [Link]
#8: ThePeakStudio has designed some special Hive emoji’s you can use on Discord.
#9: Question: How much can you earn by delegating your Hive tokens? Answer: 8% to 16%. This thread goes into the details — do check out the comments.
#10: The number of new Hive accounts have jumped from ~150 to ~300 in the last two weeks.
#11: DappReview shared a chart revealing daily users on both Hive and Steem. Hive saw a spike because of Splinterlands. If you didn’t know, Splinterlands game migrated to Hive this week.
#12: Theycallmedan discussed about PoB (Proof-of-Brain). He also makes $100 to $200 through curation. Someone even made a video that Dan is lying. (not worth watching)
#13: Don’t forget to read this positive Hive tweet:
This Week’s Tip: Give yourself a break by drawing a mandala (art) within few seconds. Go to Justmandala and start drawing. It reduces stress, they say. Plus it is pretty fun too.
That is it for now! :)
